Morning half day tour of Cochin visit The Dutch Palace - at Mattancherry was actually built by the Portuguese and presented to the Cochin Raja in AD 1555. Fort Kochi - Founded in 1503, this Portuguese fort is now in ruins. One can see many remains of Indo-European architecture that still exist here.
Chinese fishing nets- One of the fascinating sights on the Kochi shoreline the huge cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, which were brought here by traders from the court of Kublai Khan. Jewish Synagogue - At the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town lays the synagogue of the white Jews near Mattancherry palace. The synagogue is now a fascinating mixture of shops, warehouses and spice auction rooms.

Kumarakom's soil is extremely fertile due to the proximity of the water source, this has resulted in the growth of a wide variety of flora in Kumarakom, especially the mangrove and coconut trees. a cluster of tiny islands on the Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom is a part of Kuttanad, the 'granary of Kerala' in Alleppey, which is described as the 'Venice of the East'. Kumarakom offers excellent facilities like boating, fishing and sightseeing for the adventure seeker.
