Day 1: Hanoi:

Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam. You are greeted by your guide and driver at Noi Bai International airport for your transfer to the hotel. Hanoi, one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, full of culture, history and the engaging contradictions of a rapidly developing and deeply traditional society. In the afternoon, you would visit Ho Chi Minh complex with the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda, and house on stilts. Transfer back to the centre to discover Old quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. End your day with Water Puppetry Show. Overnight in Hanoi. Dinner at Indian restaurant.

Day 2: Hanoi:

After breakfast, head to Ninh Binh province for your Ninh Binh discovering tour. Your first stop is Hoa Lu was Vietnam’s capital under the Dinh and Early Le dynasties in the 10th and 11th centuries. Its palaces, pagodas, tombs and pavilions, built by different dynasties, still carry the features of an ancient imperial capital. In the afternoon, you would visit Trang An. You’ll take a boat through a remarkable cave system along a winding river lined with trees and limestone mountains. The clear river water, fresh air, magical caves and dramatic mountains will charm you from first glance. Drive back to Hanoi and drop you off at train station for your night train to Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa:

The train arrives at Lao Cai Station approx 5:30 Am where guide and driver are waiting. Explore Sa Pa by hiking through villages of ethnic minorities. This is a good opportunity to chat with your guide to learn and discover the lifestyle and customs of different ethnic groups. Start your hiking at Hau Thao village of Black H’Mong minority from which you enjoy superb panoramic views over the valley. Follow your trail through rice terraces, and villages you arrive to Giang Ta Chai village. You then be transferred back to Sa Pa by vehicle. The afternoon is your free time to explore this mountainous town. Free to wander around the town or busy & colorful lifestyle here and learn more ethnic minority’s culture. For those who want to have beautiful panoramic view of Sa Pa town then Ham Rong Mountain is an optional.

Note: Hiking distance: 6km; Hiking duration: 2-2.5hrs upon on clients’ health condition; Road condition: mostly downhill, dirt trail and paved road. The road could be slippery on rainy days

Day 4: Sapa- Hanoi:

After breakfast at the hotel, you transfer by vehicle to Suoi Ho village. From here, you follow the trek through rice fields and villages. Enjoy spectacular view along the way to Ma Tra Village. Stop by some local houses to meet the people and explore their culture, customs and traditions. The rest of the day is an easy descent to reach Ta Phin Village of the Red Dzao group. Back to main road to get on your vehicle for the journey to Lao Cai station.

Day 5: Hanoi- Ha Long Bay (on Cruise):

After returning to Hanoi, be picked up for your tour of Ha Long Bay (By private transfer). Spend the next night on the ship and explore the thousands of islets, caves, and rock formations. Enjoy water activities such as swimming, kayaking, or visiting a pearl farm. Note: Lunch and dinner will be on board (local food)

Day 6: Ha Long – Hanoi:

Breakfast on the cruise. Continue to explore Halong Bay on cruise before disembark. Driver and tour guide pick you up and transfer back to Hanoi city centre.

Breakfast at hotel and morning at leisure till transfer to airport for departure flight.
