DAY 2 ALMATY

The major attractions are Presidential Palace, Republic Square, Monument of Independence, Astana Square, Abai Square and Palace of the Republic. The tour will then continue to the oldest Almaty park - Panfilov Park, Zenkov Cathedral, Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, visit the Green Bazaar and the famous Almaty Confectionary Factory Shops. DAY 3 ALMATY

EXPLORE MEDEO GORGE AND SHYMBULAK - SEAT IN COACH TOUR

Highlight Includes: Visit Medeo Gorge, where the wonderful mountains of Trans-Ili Alatau, the largest high mountain skating rink in the world is located as well as the huge dam, protecting the city from destructive mudflows formed on the tops of the western Tien Shan. Next destination is Shymbulak Ski Resort, located at an altitude of 2230 meters above sea level.

DAY 4 ALMATY

ENJOY A VISIT TO KOK-TOBE AND BIG ALMATY LAKE - SEAT IN COACH
PICK UP TIME: BETWEEN 0800 - 0815 HRS
STARTING POINT: HOTEL LOBBY
DURATION: 8 HRS
Highlight Includes: After an early breakfast in the hotel, proceed to Kok-Tobe. The hill mast stands on the highest point of Almaty city at 1100 metres and the mast itself is 350 metres tall. The viewpoint from Kok-Tobe is well worth a visit with panoramic views of the city in all directions. There are some great viewpoints over Almaty and the other side of the hill. If you are a Beatles fan then you can have a chat with all four of them at their bronze monument. After lunch, visit The Big Almaty Lake, which is considered as one of the most beautiful lakes in Kazakhstan. The lake is simply mesmerizing color of its water, depending on the time of year, its color varies from pale green to turquoise shades. Post tour you will be transferred back to the hotel.
