Day 1 Rome

Welcome to Rome, a sprawling, cosmopolitan city. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon will be at leisure until you proceed for the panoramic night tour of Rome and discover the magical charm of the most famous monuments like Trevi Fountain, Circo Massimo, St. Mary in Trastevere, Colosseum and illuminated at night. It’s a special way to see these important monuments under another light.

Day 2 Rome

Today in the morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up for your Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill tour. Upon arrival to the Palatine Hill discover the hill where Rome was founded at the beginning. Then reach the Colosseum and be amazed by this monument that is the symbol of Rome in the world. The Amphitheater created to entertain ancient Roman citizens with bloody shows of gladiators, animals, and cruel games, is now one of the most fascinating landmark in the City. Then, walk on the original path of ancient Rome along the Via Sacra and see the Temples of Vesta, Antonino and Faustina, the ancient Basilica Julia and Aemilia and dream about the glorious past of the Roman Empire.

Day 3 Rome

After breakfast, you will leave for your Morning Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica tour. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you into the museums through preferred entrance, hence you’ll visit one of the most important art collections of the world. Admire the Gallery of Tapestries, the Geographical Maps, and beautiful Raphael’s rooms before arriving at the famous Sistine Chapel and the unforgettable Basilica! After the Sistine Chapel you will be taken through an exclusive access to St. Peter’s Basilica, skipping long lines. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4 Rome

After breakfast, proceed for your full day tour of Pompeii and Naples. The first stop is Naples, one of the most enchanting cities in the Mediterranean famous worldwide for its rich history, art, culture and gastronomy, where you will take a short panoramic tour to discover its beauty from the comfort of your coach climbing up the Vomero hill. Later, descending towards the port of Mergellina, you will leave the city and travel south toward Mount Vesuvius, to reach the town of Ercolano where we will stop for lunch. Then head to Pompeii and visit one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Through the remains and ruins of this ancient city you will learn how the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD destroyed the city, killing its inhabitants and burying it under tons of ash. You can walk along the ancient streets for a glimpse into the lives of the Romans, discovering ancient houses, bakeries and shops and imagine the everyday life in the Roman times.

Today after breakfast, free time for leisure or shopping until departure. You will be transferred to the airport for flight for your next destination.
